Junior High School

Junior High School

The Junior High School welcomes students from Grade 6 to 8 (Year 7 to 9 in the British Class System). Students usually start Junior High School at 11 years old. As it makes the link between the Primary and High School, it is a delicate moment in each student's academic life, where special monitoring is essential. At EaB - The Victor Hugo International School, effective measures are implemented to ensure students a balanced environment and individualised attention to academic development.

In Junior High School, our students follow the University of Cambridge international programme leading to the official secondary Checkpoint Examination at the end od grade 8. English is the main language of education. Moreover, our students benefit from daily Fench classes taught in different ability groups. Communication in French is highly encouraged in everyday school life. Arts, sports and music courses are also conducted in French, by native speaker teachers.

Our Junior High School classes are hosted at EaB - The Victor Hugo School (23, rue de Cronstadt - Paris 15th).
