The Immersion Primary Classes
Extra Curricular Activities
EaB features extra curricular activities in which French, English or Spanish are the languages of instruction. A large range of options aiming to enhance Primary students' language skills and develop their intellectual capacities are offered. Furthermore, sports, arts and cultural activities are also featured, every year.
Among these different activities, EaB has created a special programme for Pre-school and Primary students, every Wednesday morning. The Wednesday Morning Activities will start October 1st 2009 - from 9 am to noon. Students who would like to take part in these activities should apply as soon as possible, as places are limited.
A meal service is provided at school after the Wednesday Morning Activities. Students who are already enrolled at Lunch Service should pay an additional 25€ fee per trimester. For those who are not enrolled at Lunch Service, meal tickets are available at 14€.

French Language
French language activities are specially destined to Primary immersion classes' students, who would like to discover different aspects of the French culture and lifestyle. This workshop features outings and visits to monuments and museums. Furthermore, it presents French workmanship and gastronomy though interesting documentaries. Arts and crafts activities will alternate with visits and classes, giving this workshop a very fun and spontaneous atmosphere.
French Workshop: 260€ per trimester
English Language
English language workshops are offered to each level. These activities aim to improve students' language skills through solid pedagogical methods, as well as creative activities and arts.
CP : Speak up!
This workshop aims to structure and develop spoken English language skills. Using theatre techniques, improvisation, art and music, students improve their vocabulary and feel more comfortable while communicating in English.
CE1 : Worldwide Stories
Based on a selection of stories from different countries, this workshop awakes student's creativity and imagination. Through fun language exercises and activities, this workshop improves English language skills.
CE2 : Developing English language skills from a cultural point of view.
This language workshop will provide children with the opportunity to explore first hand the historical and artistic sites of Paris while developing and extending each child's individual linguistic skills. It will involve visits to various monuments, museums, cultural centres for English speakers, art galleries and will include preparatory or follow up discussions/activities within the classroom environment.
CM1 : Writing in English
English literature genres will all be presented: poetry, articles, novels, etc. In this workshop, students will learn the difference between texts in English. They will also use IT methods to build different texts, respecting structural rules and forms. In addition to new ways of presenting a text, his workshop will improve written English skills and develop a taste for reading.
CM2 : School Magazine
The school magazine is completely conceived by the members of this workshop: they choose the articles, write and illustrate them. Students learn to identify important issues, develop their spoken and written expression in English. Furthermore, they learn IT techniques of text editing.

Spanish Language:
Spanish workshops are organised offered to primary students from CE2 to CM2.
CE2: Learn Spanish by Playing Games
This workshop offers a language initiation through traditional Spanish games, songs, arts and crafts, etc. Students will approach the language through the fun aspects of Spanish culture.
CM1 : Spanish Speaking Countries
This workshop presents the richness of Spanish speaking countries' culture. Structured as an invitation to a fascinating journey through these different countries, students will learn about arts, geography, literature, sports, cinema, music, gastronomy and celebrations, while they improve their Spanish language skills.
CM2 : One Spanish Year
This workshop presents Spanish language in a completely different perspective... Students decide who they want to be: a theatre author, who will write a play and create its costumes; a newspaper editor, who will create his own paper... This creative workshop encourages students to challenge their limits and to live an incredible "life" in Spanish!
CM1 and CM2: Spanish Language
This workshop will take students around Spain and Latin America, and present the Spanish language in a completely different way. With a serious grammatical and lexical base, this workshop will use famous paintings to teach body parts, present different instruments through music, enhance students' orientation skills through travel tips... Students will considerably improve their vocabulary and communication skills in Spanish, through unexpected topics.
